About MeI have always enjoyed being behind a camera. My first recollection of taking pictures was with my family’s Brownie Hawkeye. It was a great point and shoot camera which took wonderful black and white photos. That camera is since long gone but my love of photography is as present today as it was back then. Today, photography as an art form continues to be my passion.
The majority of my work is done in a low key black and white visual style. It often has the look and feel of the 1930’s and 40’s Hollywood glamour portraits. I also like to create photographs that embody the sultry intrigue of a noir novel. This art style has a presence and voice that tells its own personal story. I use my camera to understand the essence of my subject, explore its soul and capture the experience in a photograph. |
